An emergency vehicle can be difficult to notice in busy traffic. Ghost Scanner gives you an additional indication of nearby emergency service activity, presented through the phone you connect to the system. It is designed for awareness on familiar commutes as well as longer drives.
The display brings together an alert panel, a relative signal strength meter and a recent activity view. You can see when detected activity changes, rather than trying to interpret a screen full of technical readings.
Visual alerts with optional sound
The alert panel changes when activity is detected. Optional sound provides another cue, while the signal meter gives context to the reading. Choose your display theme and sound preference before setting off, and keep your attention on the road.
Understanding the signal display
The percentage shown in the app is relative signal strength. It is not a measured distance to a vehicle, a direction arrow or a location on a map. Surroundings, activity and the setup can affect what the system detects, so there is no fixed distance guarantee.
Looking for a police detector?
Ghost Scanner provides emergency service awareness, which can include activity associated with police, ambulance and fire services. An alert does not distinguish the service, identify an individual vehicle or confirm that a police car is nearby. The system does not play emergency-service conversations.

Choosing your setup
Awareness without another fitted screen.
Ghost Scanner uses your phone as the interface for the supplied device. You can move the system between vehicles and keep the same familiar display. If you want to use it in a particular car, van or portable setup, contact us before ordering so we can discuss your requirements.
The system also includes compatible tracker scanning, accessed from the same app. Both features are included in the £699 system price, with no subscription.
